The Legend of Zelda, an American animated TV series first aired in 1989, is based on the popular Nintendo games The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link for the NES. The show follows Link and Princess Zelda as they protect the mystical artifact, the Triforce of Wisdom, from falling into the hands of the evil sorcerer Ganon.
Ganon attempts to capture Link with a magical zapblast. He succeeds in capturing Link's body, but not his spirit.

He plans to infiltrate the contest and use his formidable sorcery to create havoc, allowing him to steal the Triforce amidst the turmoil. Only Link and Zelda, engaging in an electrifying confrontation against the malevolent forces of the Underworld, have the potential to foil his plot!
